Open Campus is offering Online Scholarships!

Scholarship Details

Five scholarships for $300 each are available for Fall Term, 2008. Applicants must:

• not have completed an Associate's degree or higher
• have completed at least one online course at Florida Community College
• be enrolled in at least six online credits during Fall 2008
• have a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.5 or higher
• have applied for financial aid by completing a FAFSA application
• complete a scholarship application (click here to download PDF)
• not be an employee of the College
• submit an essay, 1 – 2 typed pages, double-spaced. Please include some of the following elements:
  • how online learning has promoted your overall learning experience;
  • the most interesting aspect of online learning;
  • where you see the future of online learning;

Scholarship awardees will be required to participate in 4 – 5 brief online focus group surveys throughout the semester.

Deadline for receipt of scholarship application is 4 p.m. on August 22, 2008.
